Thanks for visiting GB Works Ltd website ("GB Works", "we", "us" or "our"). When it comes to your information we are committed to be as open and clear as we can. Here we are explaining what personal information we collect when you visit our site, what we do with it through our web-host Squarespace and your choices and rights.


What personal data do we collect?

We have completely turned off our activity log from Squarespace. This means we not longer collect Analytics and Performance Cookies and only functional and required cookies for the correct navigation and key features on our site.

This action will cause an absence of information regarding the traffic on our site, but we believe it is better to minimise as much as possible the data shared with our host, or any other platform for the security of your personal metadata. We only store any personal details, for example you email, when contacting us via our email server (GSuite from Google), and you give your consent when getting in touch with us. We will not share any of this details with third parties for any reason, or any other data. 

If you use our contact form, you will be agreeing to sharing your name and email address with us. By doing so, you agree for us to store it in our contact list. We will not actively share these details with any third party or include it in our marketing lists without your prior knowledge.

All the data is stored in the United States where Squarespace is based. This is a country which complies with the new GDPR law. We have put in place security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed, or accessed without authorisation.

 

How do we collect the information?

Our website is set up using the platform Squarespace. We trust in their service, and have accept their Terms, Privacyand Cookies terms. You can have access to all of them following by click on each highlighted word.

Squarespace gets information about your interaction with our site, though they use this in anonymous, aggregated and psdueonimised form which does not focus on you individually. They use this data to evaluate, provide, protect or improve their Services (including by developing new products and services).

We have tried to minimise the amount of information shared with third parties such as YouTube, social media and analytics as much as possible, but there may still be information they may combine with other data that you’ve provided to them or that they’ve collected from your use of their services. For instance, on when a video plays on our site a few cookies may be exchange between your device and YouTube services.

We do not actively share any of your personal data beyond the setting already deactivated on our Squarespace account.
